Question:
I've dried up all the remnants of power steering fluid that leaked onto my
garage floor (from my gear box rebuild project) with your standard "oil dry"
stuff. Is there anything I can use to get the p/s and oil stains out of my
garage floor at this point? .can anyone help me please?
Answer:
I just knew someone would be the worlds protector and tie the words gas
and explosion together. Like you can throw acetone and paint thinner on
a fire to put it out or something. Maybe these are the same people
putting stickers on all the sun visors in the world. I am sure some
bone head can find a way to kill himself with a gallon of milk. If you
leave the garage door open the fumes from any volatile liquid will
dissipate adequately. Since we're talking garage floors, I want to paint mine. I've been
considering the epoxy based paint similar to what is use for aircraft
hanger floors. I'm in the aviation business and I've been to some dam
nice aircraft hangars with immaculate floors. Granted most items likely
to spill on hangar floors are jet fuel, avgas, turbine oil, etc. How
much worst could car related fluids be than those products.
