Question:
My wife parks her car in our attached garage.
I've got the interior garage door (the one to the house) bugged and set as an
entry/exit door with a 30 sec. delay (there's a keypad inside, right near this
door).
I'd like to also bug the exterior garage door, but am unsure of the best way
to do this without inconviencing my wife each time she leaves or comes
home...
I don't just want to make the exterior garage door another entry/exit door
with a long delay.
Any suggestions on different ways to protect this area?
Answer:
Get a 3 party keychain transmitter & receiver. They keychain transmitter
will open & close the door & arm & disarm the alarm panel (opener & panel
must allow you to do this to work properly).
I have closed many a sell when the woman of the house heard about this. They
love the convenience. A red diode light showing arming on the garage door
frame is another win-win item.
