Does anyone know of a good group or groups on tiny house design,
specific perhaps to the Northeast?
Answer:
Next week I'm going to find a contractor that can do the excavating and
concrete work and I'll probably pull the permits myself.
Menards, a very large chain like Lowes, has garage kits for sale and that is
probably what I am going to go with, I'm not sure at this point.
They cut all the materials, bundle them in a series and deliver them to the
site, and they will do this off of my own design.
The price I got from them just yesterday for the complete shell package was
just over $6k and that was with 2x6 walls.
Thats a hard price to beat.
Before I do any of this though I might build an 8'x8' shed to house my tools
so that they are out of the weather and out of the rented storage unit they
are now in.
Afterward this shed will house my riding mower, push mower and other yard
equipment.
Will post details as this thing moves forward, if this bullshit internet
connection can handle it.
