Question:
I am looking for individual opinions or a consumer report on Garage Doors.
I live in Southern California and I am considering Martin (Home Depot -
local installer), Amarr, or Anaheim Doors.
Any suggestions or experiences you can share to help me choose.
I am leaning towards 24 gauge steel, double steel insulated door; for
safety, energy efficiency, and look.

I'm in Canada and my only comment is that were doing a bunch of
renovations. I got prices from Home depot and another large store up
here, and on both Garage doors and new countertops they were
expensive.
All Home Depot does is takes someones products, marks it up quite a
bit and then has another company make the tops and doors and install.
Find out who makes the door, call them up for distributors and buy
direct.

$1100 installed.
From a Steel Craft door guy, $730 installed.
