I'm looking for a used garage door that I can cut down to 5 x 6 feet.
Every time I call about an ad for one it's gone. What do people do
with all these used garage doors? Anybody ever bought a used garage
door? I priced one made for me and they want $300 but I'm way to cheap
for that.
Answer:
In the Albuquerque area there is at least one guy who has a side business
replacing garage doors with used ones. He buys damaged or replaced doors,
rebuilds them and sell to people like me who are renovating houses. I thought
it worked out real well. I would guess that a lot of doors get torn up by
automatic openers.
