Need info on ventless gas heaters

Question:
I'd like to put a ventless Natural Gas wall heater in my garage. I've noticed 2 kinds, radiant and "blue flame". I understand that radiant heaters warm the objects in a room then the air not like the convection heaters. I was wondering if the radiant ones were the better choice or if
I'd feel cold working in the garage? Also I'd assume the radiant ones do not need a blower, true?

Answer:
i would not do this. one you have a open flame, if your garage is like mine there is gas and other volatile. second vent free heaters give off a film that will attach to walls. also if you use any volatile liquid the fumes given off the heater is terrible to the eyes. get a direct vent if you have to have a heater

The radiant heaters will warm the part of your skin that is facing the heater, without having to warm the air to do it. In cases where it is impractical to warm the air (a poorly enclosed area) the radiant heater will do better (and be more efficient). But it will never give you a warm, toasty feeling all over, if that's what you're after.
