Question:
I have a 8 by 14' wooden garage door. Any ideas on how I can
economically insulate it? I have thought of cutting styrofoam panels
and gluing them on the inside. Any other ideas out there? Is there
commercial kits available to do this?
Answer:
There are fiberglass " blankets that have a white vinyl covering and
these are sold as kits. They come with specila "fasteners which are
perforated plates and nails; but, after putting the firt one on with
these, I applied the second one to my other door using a staple gun
and small squares of cardboard to keep the staples from pulling
through the vinyl.
